The workshop explores the huge variety of texture and colour that can be achieved with this incredibly versatile press free printing technique. Using the 10x10cm Gelli plates and initially printing from botanical specimens, experimenting with layering to build complexity in colour/composition/shape. All basic materials are provided, alongside one to one tuition to help you realise your own ideas. Suitable for all levels from absolute beginner to the more advanced creative student. Inspiration and lots of variety in printing material will be provided, but feel free to bring your own textured materials to print from if you have an idea in mind that you want help to bring to life.
