Working on canvas or paper you will be supported and guided through the process of making an animal portrait. Through initial drawings in charcoal or pencil to establish a composition, to blocking in with acrylic, before refining detail and adding texture to complete your painting. All basic materials are provided and one to one tuition to help you realise your own ideas. Suitable for all levels from absolute beginner to the more advanced creative student. Plentiful animal resources and artists for inspiration are available in the studio from wildlife/pets/farm animals to bugs and butterflies. You are more than welcome to bring your own references too.
