A day developing and exploring collage and mixed media with existing prints. Ideally a follow on day from a Gelli Printing Workshop, however plenty of prints will be available to chop up and experiment with if you do not have any prints to bring along. A chance to explore layering to build complexity in colour/composition/shape, resolving and concluding prints or creating something completely new and unexpected. Using drawing and painting to add interest and highlight details, exploring collage to develop larger and more complex compositions. All basic materials are provided, alongside one-to-one tuition to help you realise your own ideas and develop a personal response. Suitable for all levels from absolute beginner to the more advanced creative student. Inspiration and lots of variety will be provided, but feel free to bring your own prints and references if you have an idea in mind that you want help to develop and bring to life. If you have lots of prints already but no idea what to do with them all this may be the class for you.
